Company History
It kicked off by mid-2006. During football world-up to be precise. Moods were high, with mixed emotions, And a clear desire to embark on a new venture popped-up. That time ,we realized the importance and need of doing efforts for process instrumentation and automation in Sudan, with dedicated commitment and efforts.
By April 2007 the official company was registered. During August of same year, an office was selected at south of Khartoum – Arkweet neighborhood. It was officially inaugurated in January 2008. By the end of 2007 we have already won our first project in Sudan, thanks to the late Mr. Charles Aziz Kfouri, to whom we owe great respect and gratitude. We executed our first turnkey project for Instrumentation, metering and control System, fully based on state-of-the-art Profibus Fieldbus Technology.
By the turning of the year in 2008, we were already a major contender in what will be our jewel project in Sudan. Sudanese Petroleum Corporation (SPC) Distribution Centre (DC) 59 meters project. Together with the young Endress+Hauser Middle-East Support Centre (MESC), we signed a contract with SPC by August 2008. This multimillions dollar project entailed building a new control room and supply, install and commission 59 custody transfer metering stations complete with a control system and a power supply unit.
The successful project was commissioned in March 2009, with zero downtime on the critical distribution center. This project demonstrated our capabilities and helped shape our corporate structure and prepared us to the adventure a head. During the same year of 2009 we started construction of our one of its kind work-shop and calibration center in the south of Khartoum.
We inaugurated FLUMETEC on February 10th, 2010 in an event celebrated by our customers and joined by the management of both Endress+Hasuer Instruments International-Switzerland and the Endress+Hauser MESC United Arab Emirates. We displayed our offering and demonstrated how technology can help optimize operation and reduce losses and operational costs. We grew to about 50 employees and received ISO certification in 2013 by German certification body TUV-Nord. Applications Engineering, Project Management and Design, Installation, Commissioning and after sales services follow documented standardized operational procedures focused on improving customers’ experience and meeting expectations. Despite continued challenges we managed to always guarantee and emphasize local support and local expertise to the international level only a call away.
